TRAINING FACILITATOR
Chirag is a teaching artist/lecturer, medical education & communication consultant, and clinical pharmacist based out of the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC). As a clinical pharmacist/medical education & communication consultant for 15+ years, his work is focused on academic detailing and prior authorization. As a teaching artist/lecturer for 12+ years, his work is focused on studying, performing and teaching improvisation and theater-based principles to enhance communication.
Chirag is currently teaching an elective with the Honors College at UIC that utilizes improvisational and theater-training techniques to enhance communication, creativity and confidence and is also the recipient of the "Enchanting Educator" award in 2025 from the Honors College Advisory Board. Chirag is an author on a recently published article titled "ADVANCE-ing patient care: Implementation of the academic detailing program Illinois ADVANCE" and has been a training facilitator with NaRCAD since 2021. You can catch Chirag performing improv at theaters all around Chicago!
