April Hopcroft (she/her)
PUBLIC HEALTH INTERN

Picture
April is pursuing her MPH in Social & Behavioral Sciences at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Over the summer, while analyzing viral hepatitis surveillance in New Hampshire, she was struck by the potential of academic detailing to address gaps in monitoring and to build more resilient public health systems. She is eager to apply her background in health communications, quality improvement, and implementation science to address disparities in chronic disease, substance use, and environmental health. Prior to attending graduate school, she spent three years reporting on diabetes therapies and technologies in San Francisco. April holds a B.A. from Smith College.
